HUMBLE, Texas — Illinois women's golf concluded its third and final round at the Chevron Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon, finishing in a tie for 13th place overall, carding an 884 (+20).
Three Illini tabbed a 73 (+1) in the final round, including Anna Ritter, who paced the team with a tie for 33rdplace finish, carding a 218 (78-67-73), finishing two-over par for the event. This marks Ritter's fourth time as the low scorer for Illinois in 2025-26.
Victoria Zheng and Brielle Mapanao also logged 73's on day two, with round scores of 72-74-73 and 73-73-73, respectively. Zheng and Mapanao were among a group of six players scoring a 219 to tie for 41st.
Erica Lee finished tied for 72nd, with round scores of 78 (+6), 74 (+2), and 76 (+4), for a 219 (+7). Alexis Myers finished tied for 82nd, posting scores of 81 (+9), 75 (+3), and 78 (+6), for a 234 overall.
No. 16 North Carolina emerged as team champions, finishing with an 846 (-18), notching round scores of 284 (-4), 277 (-11), and 285 (-3). Kiara Romero of Oregon earned the individual championship, registering a 205 (66-70-69), to finish 11 under par.
The Fighting Illini return to action on Friday, March 20, to begin the Florida State Match Up in Tallahassee, Fla. The three-day event will be at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
