CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois' Homecoming game against Purdue on Saturday, Oct. 3, will kick off at 3:15 p.m. CT, the conference office and television partners announced Monday. The game will air on Big Ten Network.
Illinois will look to keep The Cannon Trophy in Champaign for a third straight season against the Boilermakers.
Illinois' football game against Purdue is the final activity in a week-long celebration of Illinois alumni returning to campus. Homecoming week celebrates its 116th year of Illinois traditions.
The Fighting Illini travel to #7 Ohio State this Saturday, while Purdue hosts #3 Notre Dame.
Limited tickets remain for next week's Homecoming game at FightingIllini.com/tickets. Illinois has sold out its last two home games and six of its last nine at Gies Memorial Stadium.
