KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Illinois fell in its Allstate Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge Week contest to No. 22 Tennessee, 3-0, on the road on Tuesday night.
Paityn Chapman posted a team-high nine kills, while Talita Goncalves totaled a team-most and season-best 11 digs
Madi Miles tallied a career-high three kills and three digs.
Illinois remains on the road for two matches on the campus of Rice in Houston over the weekend. The Fighting Illini will face McNeese State in a neutral-site matchup on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT before taking on the host Owls on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT.
