Illinois Launches The Illinois Script Podcast

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The first episode of The Illinois Script, a new podcast by Illinois Athletics, dropped Wednesday. The podcast can be viewed on demand on the Fighting Illini Athletics YouTube channel.
Hosted by Olivia Moffitt, The Illinois Script modernizes Illinois' interview and audio content distribution with feature interviews with Fighting Illini student-athletes and coaches throughout the upcoming 2026-27 athletic seasons. Moffitt joins as host after serving as Illinois' digital host for content on @IlliniAthletics social channels, a role she will continue into the upcoming year.
The first episode, out now on YouTube, features women's basketball star Berry Wallace as the Fighting Illini finish up summer workouts ahead of an exciting 2026-27 campaign. Future guests this fall include standout student-athletes from football, soccer, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball, as well as Fighting Illini head coaches. Illinois head football coach Bret Bielema will make his Illini Script debut in August before the Illini open the season on Thursday, Sept. 3 against UAB.
