It's Ava Moore!
I'm a sophomore, majoring in accounting, from New Carlisle, Ohio. I play shortstop and wear jersey number 2.
This week has been full of excitement as the date of our opening game grows closer. This team has worked very hard over the course of the fall season and the winter months to prepare for our opening tournament at LSU. February 6th not only marks the first game of 2026 for Illini softball, but the also the beginning of a great season.
The grind never stops with this group of girls; I love getting to be apart of this team. We are working hard and can't wait to see you at Eichelberger Field in the coming months.
