Senior Sydney Stoll also made a splash for the Illini winning the 100 butterfly (55.89) and helping to secure wins in the 200 medley relay (1:43.37) and the 400 freestyle relay (3:29.78).
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Vanderbilt comes into the meet with an 0-3 record this season. The Commodores began their season on Sept. 27 with a dual against Tulane where they were defeated, 150-87. Two weeks later, on Oct. 11, Vanderbilt traveled to Columbia S.C. where they took a 249-45 loss to South Carolina and a 240-48 loss against Georgia. Last season, they finished 4-7 overall and placed 12th at the SEC Swimming & Diving Championships.
Indiana State boasts a flawless 2-0 record with a commanding 213.5-86.5 win at their season-opening dual against Illinois State on Oct. 4. They followed that up two weeks later with a 205-52 win over Eastern Illinois on Oct.18 for their second dominant performance of the year. Last year, they went 9-1 overall and finished second at the Missouri Valley championships.
