OCALA, Fla. — Illinois swim concluded its 2025-26 season at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship on Saturday evening. The team finished in seventh place of 46 teams, with 330 total points over three days of competition.
Senior Sara Jass once again had a strong qualifying session, earning her way into the A final in both the 200 breast (2:14.65) and 100 IM (56.72). Chloe Diner also qualified for the A final in the 100 IM (56.25), and Martina Cibulkova qualified for the B final in the 100 freestyle (50.53).
Distance swimmer Liv Dorshorst competed in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle races, finishing in 23rd (10:12.31) and 13th (16:49.53), respectively.
In the evening finals session, Diner came in seventh in the 100 IM (55.83), while Jass finished in tenth (56.87). Jass also lowered her time from prelims to finish eighth in the 200 breaststroke (2:14.02). Cibulkova finished 19th in the 100 freestyle (50.80).
The team of Cibulkova, Jass, Diner, and Maggie Adler finished sixth in the 400 freestyle relay, with a time of 3:22.17.
