Education:
Divan participated in basketball and track & field at Danville Area Community College, before transferring to Blackburn College where he continued his basketball career. Divan earned his bachelor's degree in social sciences from Blackburn in 1998. He was an assistant basketball coach at Lindenwood University during the 1999-2000 season. Divan earned his master's degree in sports administration from the University of Illinois in 2002.

Past Experience:
In 2003, Divan was named assistant director for facilities, operations & events at the University of Maryland. In 2006, Divan was promoted to the position of associate director of facilities, operations & events for the Terrapins. In 2007, Divan took the position of director of operations at Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation and aided in opening the $55 million Monon Center in Carmel, Ind.

Personal:
Originally from Danville, Ill., Divan and his wife currently reside in St. Joseph, Ill., with their two children.
