Education:
Walker is a 2024 graduate of Michigan State University where she earned her degree in marketing with a minor in sport management. She went on to earn her MBA with a concentration in sport management from Cornerstone University in 2026.
Responsibilities:
Walker works with a caseload of student-athletes to facilitate the development of academic and time management skills while also supporting academic counselors in efforts to aid in the retention, development, and graduation of student-athletes. She helps monitors and document student-athlete weekly academic progress as it pertains to NCAA, Big Ten, and institutional guidelines. Additionally, Walker helps identify and evaluate student-athlete needs for additional academic support resources in addition to supervising student-athletes in study hall/academic practice while maintaining a positive, effective learning environment for all students. She also assists with the scholarship textbook distribution process.
Past Experience:
Walker previously served as an athletic operations graduate assistant at Cornerstone University where she coordinated athletic events and enhanced the overall game day experience. At Cornerstone, Walker founded the Sport Management Club to provide opportunities for student-athletes to get hands-on experience.
Personal:
A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Walker is a member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A).
