Education:
Tomanelli is a graduate of Bowling Green State University

Responsibilities:
Tomanelli serves as the primary media contact for Illinois men’s/women’s track & field and cross country, soccer, swimming & diving and wrestling.

Past Experience:
Tomanelli spent three years as a student assistant at Bowling Green State University where he worked with a variety of their programs (men’s/women’s basketball, football, men’s/women’s soccer, hockey and volleyball), including spending the 2020-21 season as the primary contact for the Falcons' swimming and diving program.

He also spent the spring semester of 2022 interning in The University of Toledo’s office where he was the primarily worked with Rockets men’s and women’s basketball, track & field, and cross country.

He served as an intern at Illinois for three years (2022-25) before making the transition to full-time on June 22, 2025.
