Education:
Myles earned his bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from Nebraska in 2002.

Job Responsibilities:
Myles launched Fighting Illini Productions in 2004, laying the foundation for what would become the premier broadcast and in-venue entertainment operation for Illinois Athletics. In 2014, he was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director, Director of Fighting Illini Productions, leading broadcast operations that spanned nine large-scale LED videoboards and delivering game-day entertainment to thousands of fans. He also oversaw the streaming production arm for Big Ten Network’s Big Ten Plus platform, bringing Illini Athletics to a digital audience.

In 2025, Myles was elevated to Associate Athletic Director, Director of Illini Productions and Technology, expanding his leadership to include both broadcasting operations and the Sports Technology division. His work continues to drive innovation in fan engagement, live production, and cutting-edge sports technology integration for Illinois Athletics.

Past Experience:
Myles began his career in 1998 at the University of Nebraska working as a student for the university athletic department video department known as HuskerVision. During his undergraduate tenure, he worked on several video board features and television features for the University of Nebraska. Also, as an undergraduate, he worked video production for the Lincoln Saltdogs (a minor league baseball team in Lincoln) and The Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb. Prior to arriving at Illinois in 2004 Myles was the Director of Entertainment for the Fresno Grizzlies, the AAA affiliate for the San Francisco Giants.

Personal:A native of Lincoln, Neb., he and his wife, Allison, have three children.
