Caleb Wood joined the Fighting Illini as the program's Director of Football Creative Video in July 2025. He is in his second season in 2026.

During his first season in Champaign in 2025, Wood helped the Illini to nine wins, a victory over #23 Tennessee in the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl, and a final ranking of #25 in the Coaches Poll. He also helped Illinois sign the #21 recruiting class in the nation in December 2025, the highest-ranked class in Illinois history.

Wood came to Champaign from Indiana, where he created content as an undergraduate student from 2022-25. He specialized in videography, including working with the Indiana football program during their trip to the 2024 College Football Playoff. 

Wood earned her bachelor’s degree in arts from the University of Indiana in 2025.
