Aaron Quinn is in his third season with the Illinois football program in 2026 as the Director of Football Graphic Design. He was hired in May 2024.
During his two seasons in Champaign, Quinn has helped the Illini to its winningest two-year run in program history from 2024-25, including 19 wins, 11 Big Ten wins, six ranked wins, and two victories over SEC opponents in the 2024 Citrus Bowl vs. #14 South Carolina and 2025 Music City Bowl vs. #23 Tennessee. With Bell on staff, Illinois has fourth-most Power-4 wins (15) over the last two seasons among Big Ten teams, behind only Ohio State (21), Oregon (20), and Indiana (19). The Illini are one of 15 Power-4 programs to win 9+ games in each of the last two seasons.
Quinn has also been impactful in Illinois' raised recruiting efforts. He helped the Illini sign the #21 recruiting class in the nation in December 2025, the highest-ranked class in Illinois history.
Quinn came to Champaign from Tennessee State, where he was the creative content graduate assistant in the Tigers’ athletic department from 2022-24. He developed branding for all Tennessee State athletics accounts, shot photography and videography for all sports, and managed the social media presence for the Tigers’ football, women’s basketball, and softball teams. Quinn helped Tennessee State win the 2022-23 CSC ChangeMaker Innovation Award for work on recruiting, storytelling, and social media for NFL legend and Tennessee State head coach Eddie George.
Quinn is a graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois, where he played on the football team and worked as a sports information director intern, director of football operations, and graphic design/social media specialists during his undergraduate years. He graduated from Illinois College with a Bachelor of Arts as a dual major in graphic design and sports management in May 2022. He added a master’s degree in sports administration from Tennessee State in December 2023.
