JC Keller joined the Illini staff full-time on July 21, 2025, serving in the role of video coordinator and director of technology.

This position follows a two-year stint where Keller served as graduate manager for the program from 2023-25.

Keller was also a four-year student manager for the team from 2019-23, serving as head manager as a senior. 

Illinois has experienced widespread success during his time with the program, highlighted by six-straight 20-win seasons, five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, Big Ten tournament titles in 2021 and 2024, and a Big Ten regular season championship in 2022.

A native of Neoga, Illinois, Keller played four years of varsity basketball at Neoga High School. 

Keller earned bachelor’s and master’s degress from the University of Illinois in recreation, sport, and tourism.
