• Father, Sean, played football at Iowa and was selected in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft before playing eight years in the NFL, including winning Super Bowl XLVII with the Baltimore Ravens 
• Illinois head coach Bret Bielema recruited his father, Sean, to Iowa 
• Wore #37 in high school to honor his father
