• Had consecutive scoreless outings on April 8 at Illinois State and April 15 vs. SIUE...closed the season with back-to-back scoreless appearances on May 2 at Rutgers (G2) and on May 16 at Ohio State.

2024 - Graduate Student (University of Tampa - JV)

• Went 4-0 with a 5.40 ERA (14 ER/23.1 IP) in seven games/four starts.
• Struck out 34 batters.

2023 - Senior (Concordia University, St. Paul)

• NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
• Appeared in 10 games with nine starts for CSP...had a record of 2-5...posted an 8.92 ERA.
• Recorded 25 strikeouts in 165 at-bats.
• Had a career-high six strikeouts against Bemidji State (March 20).
• Pitched a career-high 7.1 innings against Minot State (April 3).

2022 - Junior (Concordia University, St. Paul)

• NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
• Appeared in seven and started three games with a record of 1-3 for the Golden Bears .
• Recorded 12 strikeouts in 11.2 inning's pitched.
• Matched a career high four strikeouts in a single game against Minot State (April 13). 

2021 - Sophomore (Concordia University, St. Paul)

• NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
• Missed the season due to injury.

2020 - Freshman (Concordia University, St. Paul)

• Made a pair of appearances out of the bullpen in his first season with the Golden Bears.
• Went 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA and five strikeouts in 4.0 innings pitched on the year.
• Threw 2.0 shutout innings while striking out four in his collegiate debut against Presentation on March 2.

High School

• Lettered three times in baseball and twice in football for the Eagles.
• Earned All-Northwest Suburban Conference honors in both baseball and football.
• Helped the team to a conference title as a junior.
• Slashed .231/.340/.304 at the plate and collected a 2.81 ERA over 32.1 innings on the mound as a junior.
• Ranked as the No. 33 player in Minnesota and the No. 13 right hander in the state according to Perfect Game.

• Son of Heather and Matt Morel.
• Mother ran track and cross country at Wisconsin-La Crosse and father wrested at Wisconsin-La Crosse.
• Has two brothers, Dane and Brayden.
• Chose Illinois because, "of the coaching staff and the environment that is demanded for a winning culture."
• Was also recruited by Abeline Christian and Gardner Webb.
• Intends on receiving his graduate certificate in leadership and strategic management.
