Illinois Baseball Set to Compete in 2027 Live Like Lou Jax College Baseball Classic

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois baseball team is set to compete in the prestigious Live Like Lou Jax College Baseball Classic during the 2027 season.
The Fighting Illini will take on Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee over the course of the three-day event from Feb. 26-28 at VyStar Ballpark in Jacksonville, Fla.
Game information is yet to be announced and will be shared when available. Tickets are expected to go on sale in August.
The Live Like Lou Jax College Baseball Classic is an early-season NCAA Division I college baseball tournament that takes place annually on the second weekend of the college baseball season in Jacksonville.
Illinois posted a 28-27 record during the 2026 season.
