CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini dropped its series finale against No. 19 Oregon, 11-5, on Sunday afternoon at Illinois Field.
Michael Farina, Will Johannes, and AJ Putty all posted two-hit days at the plate for the Orange and Blue.Â
Farina and J.R. Nelson notched two RBI apiece, which included Farina's second home run of the weekend. Johannes' solo homer in the sixth traveled 442 feet and was his sixth long ball of the season.
