Illinois Falls to Missouri in Annual Neutral-Site Matchup

O'FALLON, Mo. – The Fighting Illini fell to Missouri, 5-1, on Tuesday night at CarShield Field in O'Fallon, Mo.

The Illinois bullpen held the Tigers to just one run over the final seven innings, but a four-run first from Missouri proved too much to overcome for the Orange and Blue.

Sam Mommer secured three scoreless and hitless innings of work in relief, while Liam McKillop and Richie LaCien also both posted zeros for the Illini out of the bullpen.
