CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The 2026 season is underway with several former Fighting Illini in action on the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour to start out the new year.
PGA TOUR
The 2026 PGA Tour schedule opens this week at the Sony Open in Hawai'i at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu where Brian Campbell and Adrien Dumont de Chassart will be in action.
Campbell, who captured the first two PGA Tour wins of his career last season, is looking to build on the on-court success he achieved last season.
Dumont de Chassart, will open his second full season on the PGA Tour after making 32 starts as a rookie in 2024. He played in four PGA Tour events in 2025 while competing on the Korn Ferry Tour where he earned back his PGA Tour card as the No. 7-finisher on the 2025 points list.
KORN FERRY TOUR
The Korn Ferry Tour opened the 2026 campaign at The Bahamas Golf Classic at Atlantis Paradise Island, which teed off Sunday.
All three former Fighting Illini in the field – Jackson Buchanan, Michael Feagles, and Nick Hardy – have made the cut in their first outing of the season at the Ocean Club at Paradise Island.
