Illinois Divers Head to Chicago for UIC Diving Invitational

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The University of Illinois diving team hits the road for the UIC Diving Invitational in Chicago, Ill., on Feb. 1, a t 11 a.m. CT at the UIC Natatorium.
Along with the Illini and host UIC, Green Bay, Illinois State, Milwaukee, UChicago, Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Wisconsin-Eau Claire will compete.
Last Time Out
The Illini divers competed against Nebraska in Lincoln, Neb., on Saturday, Jan. 25. In the one-meter dive sophomore Madelyn Crosby came away with second place after scoring a six-dive total of 255.90. Freshman Erin Young took fifth in the event with a total of 214.95.
Young finished third in the one-meter dive with a score of 250.50, while Crosby posted a 224.40 for a fifth-place finish.
Next Up
The Illinois diving team will be back in action, along with the swimming team, as they travel to Columbus, Ohio for the Ohio State Winter Invite. The all-day event will take place Saturday, Feb. 15 through Sunday, Feb. 16.
