2. The Illini also improve to 54-2 at the Assembly Hall over the last four-plus seasons and 15-1 under head coach Bruce Weber.

3. Senior guard Luther Head set a career-high with six three-pointers made, besting performances against Michigan and Michigan State in 2004 when he made five. With nine assists against Oakland, he also ties a career-high, which he set against Indiana on March 12, 2004.

4. With his first board of the game, junior guard Deron Williams recorded his 200th career rebound. He now has 205 for his three-year career. His first trey of the night was also his 100th career three-pointer to bring his total to 101 as an Illini.

5. Junior guard Dee Brown broke into Illinois' Top-50 all-time scoring list with his six points against Oakland. He now has 867, good enough for 48th place, surpassing Jeff Dawson (50th, 865) and Roger Taylor (49th, 866).
