Quentin Singleton is in his third season on staff with the Illinois football program as an operations and recruiting assistant in 2026. 

During his two seasons in Champaign, Singleton has helped the Illini to its winningest two-year run in program history from 2024-25, including 19 wins, 11 Big Ten wins, six ranked wins, and two victories over SEC opponents in the 2024 Citrus Bowl vs. #14 South Carolina and 2025 Music City Bowl vs. #23 Tennessee. With Singleton on staff, Illinois has fourth-most Power-4 wins (15) over the last two seasons among Big Ten teams, behind only Ohio State (21), Oregon (20), and Indiana (19). The Illini are one of 15 Power-4 programs to win 9+ games in each of the last two seasons. 

Singleton joined the Fighting Illini from Ohio, where he was an operations assistant in 2023. He assisted in all aspects of operations of the Ohio football program, including team travel, meals, and NCAA compliance.

Singleton went to Ohio following a two-year stint as an operations, recruiting, and equipment intern at Coastal Carolina from 2021-22 as an undergraduate student. His duties included assisting with recruiting visits, recruiting film breakdown, and assisting the Director of Football Operations. 

Singleton graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2022 with a bachelor of science in recreation and sports management. He is a native of Blythewood, South Carolina.
