Born February 14, 2006... Daughter of Michael and Kristen Cappello... Father, Michael, played football at Northwestern for four years... One sister, Brianna... Chose Illinois because "I chose Illinois because it is a great environment for academics and athletics. The coaching staff is very welcoming, I know they will help me and support my efforts to be the best student athlete possible. I am excited for the challenge of Big Ten competition and the opportunity to learn at a top university that has the resources to help me achieve my career goals. In addition, the community of the swim team and students are all very friendly. I can see the University of Illinois as a place to call home during my next four years."
