- Chose Illinois because "Initially, I was attracted to the astounding academics and athletics along with the rich history here at the U of I. When I talked with the coaches and the team, I immediately clicked with them because of their team culture and values. I knew that this was the perfect fit for me especially in transition from another university. I am so excited to be a part of the Illinois family."
