• Mother, Cynthia, played college basketball and softball at St. Joseph College from 1981-85
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with a minor in food science
• Chose Illinois because "I saw how amazing the academics and athletics fit together. The team had a great atmosphere and the campus was beautiful."
