  • Named to Amateur Wrestling News' All-Rookie team

High School

  • No. 1 national recruit at 152 by Intermat and No. 2 national recruit at 160 pounds by Amateur Wrestling News
  • Named a second-team AWN High School All-American in 2010
  • Won the Michigan Division 1 state title at 160 pounds in 2010 after taking home Division 2 state titles at 140 in 2008 and 152 in 2009
  • Finished second at 125 pounds in 2007
  • Won consecutive titles at the Super 32 Challenge, one of the top national high school tournaments, earning the 145-pound title in 2008 and the 152-pound championship in 2009
