Illinois Track and Field Signs Sprinter Keelan Wright

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois director of track, field and cross country Petros Kyprianou announced the signing of sprinter Keelan Wright to his team on Wednesday (June 3).
Wright transfers into Illinois after spending her freshman season at Georgia only competing in a handful of meets throughout the season. She owns personal bests of 7.31 in the 60m, 11.38 in the 100m and 23.21 in the 200m. Prior to college, she was a two-time California state runner-up in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
