ROSEMONT, Ill. – Fighting Illini junior Max Herendeen has been named Big Ten Golfer of the Week following his victory at the Duck Invitational in Eugene, Ore., March 23-24. The Big Ten Conference announced the honor Thursday afternoon.
- Won the Duck Invitational by five strokes to claim the fourth tournament title of his collegiate career.
- Carded an 11-under 202, the third-lowest tournament score of his career.
- The only competitor in the 88-player field to shoot under par in all three rounds.
- Posted 48 of 54 holes at par or better with a tournament-leading 18 birdies.
It marks the third-career Big Ten Golfer of the Week honor for Herendeen, his second this season, and the fourth for the Fighting Illini in 2025-26.
