Two Illini Individuals, One Doubles Team Advance to ITA Regionals Day 4

URBANA, Ill. - Day 3 action of the ITA Midwest Regional saw the Fighting Illini rack up eight wins across one round of doubles and two rounds of singles play.
After starting play in the qualifying draw, Shravani Chennamsetty won her fourth-straight singles match before suffering a three-set loss to teammate Lizzie Isyanov.
Isyanov is now set to face another Illini teammate in the singles main draw quarterfinals as her and Ariel Madatali cross paths. The matchup guarantees an Illinois player in the semifinals.
The Illini tandem of [11] Alice Xu/Cara Mester will open the day with a quarterfinals match against Notre Dame's [2] Molnar/Rochon at 9 a.m. CT. If the duo wins, they'll play again at 10:30 a.m.
