Illini Fall to #1 Nebraska on the Road

RECAP

LINCOLN, Neb. – Illinois fell in straight sets at #1 Nebraska on Thursday night at the Devaney Center.

With the win, the Huskers remained perfect on the season, while the Fighting Illini are now 12-10 overall and 7-6 in Big Ten play.

Taylor de Boer tallied a team-high eight kills while equaling her career-high with three blocks. 

Auburn Tomkinson totaled six kills, a block, an assist, and a dig, while Ashlyn Philpot posted five kills and a block.

Gabby Dean set career-highs with two kills and two blocks, all of which came in the third set, while Kayla Burbage also notched two blocks. Taryn Kirsch collected a team-most six digs.
