RECAP

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Illinois soccer (12-4-2, 5-4-2 B1G) battled Michigan (6-8-4, 3-4-4 B1G) to a 1-1- draw on Sunday afternoon at U-M Soccer Stadium. Cayla Jackson scored in the 84th minute for her team-leading seventh goal of the season.

After a scoreless first half Michigan forward Jenna Lang opened the scoring in the 54th minute to take the 1-0 lead before Jackson's late equalizer. Illinois only registered two shots on goal all game including Jackson's goal and Sarah Foley registered the only other shot on net in the 22nd minute.

Izzy Lee made seven saves today which brings her season total to 102 on the year making her the fifth goalie in program history to make 100+ saves in a season. She's the first Illinois keeper to make 100+ saves in a season in 12 years since Claire Wheatley had 101 in 2013. Lee's 102 saves rank fourth most in program history.
