CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois women's gymnastics will compete in Huff Hall for the final time during the 2024 season as it hosts No. 21 Arizona, No. 13 Missouri and SEMO on Sunday, March 17, at 2 p.m. CT for Senior Day.
Scouting Report
Arizona is coming off back-to-back home meets (No. 5 Utah: L, 197.875-195.725, Southern Connecticut State: W, 196.900-192.725). The loss against Utah was the Wildcats' lowest team score of the season, with their highest being a 197.000 on Jan. 27 at home against No. 25 Stanford.
This will be the second straight quad meet for Missouri after hosting No. 9 Denver, New Hampshire and SEMO on March 10. The Tigers (197.375) came in second to Denver (197.625), followed by New Hampshire (195.250) and SEMO (193.150).
Before participating in the Missouri quad meet, SEMO competed in another quad meet hosted by Nebraska, where they scored a 194.375 and came in third, just in front of Illinois State (193.650) but behind North Carolina (195.200) and Nebraska (197.125). Earlier in the season, on Jan. 19, the Redhawks crushed their program record at the Tennessee Collegiate Classic, where they scored a 197.050, which remains their highest team score of the season.
