Maggie Mulchrone Places First for Illini at Bradley Classic

Complete Bradley Classic Results 
CHAMPAIGN, Ill.- The Illinois women's cross country team placed 12th out of 19 teams Friday at the Bradley Classic in Peoria. Junior Maggie Mulchrone placed first for the Illini, and 42nd overall, with a 6K time of 23:02. The Illini had an overall team score of 325 points.
Following Mulchrone was sophomore Amber Stack, who finished the race with a time of 23:06. Also scoring for the Illini were freshmen Madeline Aufmann (23:21), Kelsey Seiler (23:53), and Meagan Hynes (24:56).
Caitlin Comfort of the University of Wisconsin was the overall winner of the race with a time of 21:10, and also led her team to a first-place finish with 76 points.
The top runners for the Orange and Blue will compete tomorrow, Saturday Oct. 17 at the Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. The race is set to begin at 11:55 a.m. CT. Check out fightingillini.com for a full recap and results after the meet.
